# Tokenomics

The **$WORDT token** is at the heart of the game’s economy, and it is designed to be sustainable, rewarding both players and investors. The token has several key uses:

* **In-game purchases**: Players use $WORDT tokens to acquire items, upgrade their knight, or purchase NFT artifacts.
* **Staking and rewards**: Players can stake their $WORDT tokens to receive **passive income** and contribute to the governance of the game.
* **Governance**: Token holders have the ability to vote on important decisions regarding game updates, balance changes, and new content, ensuring that the community’s voice is heard.
* **Marketplace transactions**: $WORDT tokens are used in the **marketplace** to buy, sell, and trade NFTs and resources between players.

The tokenomics of **WORDT** are designed with **long-term sustainability** in mind, ensuring that there is always demand for tokens within the game. This creates a robust economy where the actions of the players have a direct impact on the overall health of the game world. Players can earn tokens both by playing the game and by **trading** and **staking** their assets. The ability to earn **rewards** based on your in-game performance and the **value** of the items you own adds a level of excitement and **strategy** to the game that ensures players are always motivated to improve and excel.
